Here you can choose the type of application that you want to change the default icon.

All applications
To choose an application in a list of all applications available in iCustom.


Phone call shortcut
To create a shortcut with your own icon on your home screen that will call someone using the Phone app.

SMS shortcut
To create a shortcut with your own icon on your home screen that will send a SMS to someone using the Messages app.
You can optionnally configure a default message body.

Email shortcut
To create a shortcut with your own icon on your home screen that will send an email to someone using the Mail app.
You can optionnally configure a default message body, and more.

Website shortcut
To define any website shortcut to bookmark on your home screen, launched by the browser of your choice with a custom icon different than the default website one.


Manual (custom scheme)
To define manually an application that is not preconfigured and proposed by iCustom (see more informations on the corresponding contextuel help).

Here you can choose your custom icon to use to launch the application choosen above.

For better results, you should choose a squared image, not too large (256x256 pixels is a good resolution).

You have 2 methods to choose the image to use as the app icon :

Local Picture
Use this button to upload and use any picture from your iDevice (photo albums, camera shoot, ...).

Remote URL
Use the input text to type the URL (internet address) of any supported image (PNG, JPG/JPEG, GIF, ...) available online.

You must set the full address (including «http://» or «https://» at the beginning) to the real image file (the address MUST point directly to the image file, not to a web page displaying it).
A good idea is to display the image in the browser, check in the address bar that the URL ends with the image file extension («.PNG», «.JPG», ...), copy this full URL in the address bar and then paste it in the input text.

Once the URL defined, tap the OK keyboard button to validate it. If the URL is correct, you will have an image preview showing your image is correct

Here you can choose some options for the application icon.

Popup generation
If set to «ON», the generated page to add to your home screen will open in a new Safari tab.
This allows you not to loose your configuration data if you want to come back and modify your configuration data later.
Si vous choisissez «OFF», the generated page will open here, replacing this current configuration page.
You will loose the configuration data you set if you want to modify your configuration.
